if I recall right, it has taken out "blood" some 23 instances, plus the omited verses.
plus there are like 40 editions of NIV
The NIV has many, many errors.
What have our worries ever gotten us
But some NIV words probably are helpful for word study.
Also, I got saved reading some other version. It is The Holy Spirit that moves on one when reading the Bible. He will work on where ever you are at.
